The purpose the QMHP workshop is to define the field and strengthen the focus, and help make sure that
the exciting and important kind of things we want to do get included are so more visibly.
The goal of the workshop will be a hypertext report that will be posted on the web so that the NSF can use it, to guide reviewers.

Hence with this goal in mind, the invited lectures on Monday are intended to set the theme for the important discussions to take place on Tuesday, which will have the end goal of producing a draft or table of contents of this report. Each attendee will then be invited to contribute to the report and the co-chairs will be tasked to integrate all the contributions into this final report for the NSF. The context of the meeting then is to provide this report to the NSF.
