Experiment, Simulation, and Theory for Developing High-Performance
Quantum and Molecular Devices and Systems
Simulation, theory, and experiment are all vital in the development of
new materials, devices, and systems. This talk will discuss how
close cooperation between researchers using all three approaches has
enabled substantial new progress in the development of quantum dots in
silicon/silicon-germanium heterostructures for quantum computing and
spintronics applications.
